LAPTOP CABLE SECURITY SYSTEM

AVDEX produces a wide selection of locking devices. However, we recommend cable type security systems for use with laptops in order to enhance portability and easy, flexible positioning when in use.

The LTC-205 is a unique system that provides an enhanced level of security for laptop computers utilizing the parallel printer port connection as the mechanical anchor for the security device.

EASY TO INSTALL & UNOBTRUSIVE

CAN BE SECURED TO DESKTOP OR UNDER THE DESK

HEAVY DUTY 5/16” CABLE

PROVIDED IN 2’ OR 5’ LENGTHS

USES TWO AVDEX HIGH SECURITY, KEYED ALIKE, DOUBLE BOLT LOCK CYLINDERS
 
EASY INSTALLATION:

FLANGE ATTACHMENT PLATE ATTACHES TO THE PARALLEL PRINTER PORT WITH 2 STAINLESS STEEL SCREWS PROVIDED.

COVER PLATE FITS DIRECTLY OVER THE FLANGE PLATE DENYING ACCESS TO THE ATTACHMENT SCREWS.

THE LOCKBASE THEN ATTACHES TO THE COVER PLATE AND THE LOCK CYLINDER SNAPS INTO AND THROUGH THE CABLE RING INTO THE LOCK BASE.

THE OPPOSITE END OF THE CABLE IS SECURED TO THE DESK.

PLEASE NOTE: PARALLEL PRINTER PORT IS NOT ACCESSIBLE WHEN THIS LOCKING SYSTEM IS BEING USED.
